Doctor Kleinberg here to talk to you about how to make your work area work for you so you don’t have strain at the end of the day. Make sure your monitor is at a comfortable height so that you’re working at eye level all the time.

Don’t slump over your keyboard and your mouse, try to keep your posture upright and make sure your chair is positioned at a proper angle so that you’re not uncomfortable in your legs and in your back.

Also, it might be a good idea to consider getting a standing desk to take some of the strain and alternate your posture during the day.

I strongly advise that at least once an hour, you get up from your workstation and take a walk. Drink some water, do some stretches, but try to get away from your work area so that you’re not building up the stress in your body.

If you follow these ideas, your work area will work for you and you will have a very happy and comfortable day.
