If you have lower back pain, you are definitely not alone. And as a chiropractor, I know this because I hear this complaint all the time. There are 3 things you can do to relieve your lower back pain and help prevent it in the first place.

The first thing you need to focus on is your posture, something that most people do not think enough about. Keep yourself upright when you are walking and sitting. And if you’re working at a laptop or any of your devices, make sure that you’re not slouching forward and your keeping yourself in a much more upright position.

Number two. If you have to lift something off the floor, don’t bend from the waist. Rather, get down low, bend your knees, bring the item in close, and as your standing, carry it close to your body and don’t twist with that load.

Number 3: Get into better physical condition. Many people with lower back problems are suffering because they have either weak back muscles or very tight muscles from sitting for too long.

So, learn how to do proper exercises to improve your strength and flexibility. By following these 3 ideas you will definitely make yourself more comfortable and hopefully prevent back pain in the first place. Your health is in your hands.
